Default That was a close one!

Last night at about 1 am I was driving down a pretty straight road where I passed my local Food World. I usually get a K false so I was not alarmed to hear my rd alert. I keep talking to my friend and then I notice my display turn red. I think that it was a nearby Cobra. I slowed down to about 50 mph(5 over). I noticed that every time a car came into view I got a blast of Ka. The 3rd time it alerted I saw 35.5 ghz show up on my display. At this point I knew it was instant on. It took me about 15 to 30 seconds to find the officer sitting in a church parking lot. He shot me too of course but by then I was already going the speed limit.

I was very impressed, I think the angle he was from me would be what you would call off axis. He was way off to the left side in the back of the church parking lot. There were trees between the leo and I and I still picked him up with plenty of time to react. The 695 paid for itself once again. I would of gotten a ticket for 10 over if I didn't have the 695 with me.

    Good report.

My experience is that the XTR-695 does and excellent job detecting and alerting to 35.5.

    Thanks.
