Pro78se performance downgrade!!

When I first got my 78se I was getting great detection range for the first couple weeks. Now all of a sudden my range has decreased considerably. 35.5 I was getting 1-2 miles now its down to 1/2 mile at best. 34.7 was about a mile or so and today in my normal travel area I got 34.7 at 2 tenths of a mile with C/O....33.8 used to be 1-3 miles and now I'm lucky at 1 mile....All of this is at the same location I always encounter the speed traps...I just don't understand the drop off in detection. Any ideas or is there a factory reset.....These ranges are going to get me in trouble.

•Unplug the Power Cord from the unit.
•Press and hold the Power and Quiet buttons.
•Plug the Power Cord into the unit.
•Wait for 2 beeps.
•Release the Power and Quiet buttons.

I doubt Factory reset can improve the Performance....

You are always welcome to send the unit to me for a check up.

Humidity can cause some loss at K band, but what you are saying sounds sounds like more than humidity.

Will not know anything without seeing the unit.

Did this start happening after a reset. It might be a firmware issue.

Yes. On really humid days while driving around town, all of my false alert locations have shorter range. And this is with K band signals only having to travel one or two thousand feet through humid air to my radar detectors.
