those suction cup things
Can anyone point me to were I can buy some for cheap please?
I'm kind of annoyed. I'm owned my rx65 for 2 months or so now and already 4 suction cups have gone out. What happens is I will wake up in the morning and when I get in my car one of the suction cups will have fallen off.
It is driving me nuts. I figured I could just stick it there and never move it, but things keep falling.

that's weird i've been using the same ones for 10 months.
it is weird! my friend has been using the same ones for over 3 years and he switches them between cars and everything. i can't figure it out.
What do they feel like, are they stiff or warped?
i wouldn't say warped or stiff necessarily. more like the part of the suction cup that should stick against the window is normally smooth. well the ones i have are more grainy instead of smooth now. not really stiffer but more of a different texture. they just don't stick at all.
You need to push them on harder. trust me. It works best if you have the heater on and the car air is warmer, because, hot air expands, cold bring air closer (molecules). Thats why when its colder in the morning, when you put the cups on again, they fall off by the time the air warms under the suction. That, and you will hear a small snap when all the air is out from under the cups. Trust me, my x50 and friends rx-65 have no problems and have the same exact suction cups.
i went in my garage today to find my rx65 just hanging there...those suction cups suck! i might try the visor clip
