Just ordered Bel Pro500

Well, living in VA I have to have STi magnum. But We are traveling a lot during the summer and some long trip thru out the year. I have only problem with X-band alerts (fault alerts) from Sti, yes of course I could turn off x-band but if the alert is not faulty? Well I was keeping all bands on. STi had a good RD for last 2-3 years and never really let me with ticket.
So I will test Pro 500 for next few weeks and months. I will post a differences. I hope I will not get a ticket in VA for RD.
But it's worth to risk? I think yes.
I was reading lots different reviews for Pro 500, it looks like it ties to best Escorts radar just by small margin. One review is saying it will alert cop 9 miles away instead 13 miles????... Wow I think it's irrelative 9 or 13 miles ?
Too me most important is curve detection and it does top on list, even better that STi. Also it will do well for speed cameras in MD.

What is SWS?
Why Ku-Band is not possible to select?

Also the first observation compare to STi Magnum,
1. Plastic case vs Metal for STi, but nice on touch
2. The housing longer than STi
3. Bottons? I think it's good location, much more easy to operate, but location at top makes difficult to reach, since my radar installed near rear view mirror. So I have to memorize their location.
4. The distance reaction for speed information sign/display, just shy off STi. STi does around 100 feet early. But It's all k-band (if i'm right). Thant sign I'm passing every day. All setting were as default from factory.

Pardon my bluntness, but it's obvious you made no attempt to inform yourself before spending money. You have made many mistakes, but I will tell you that sooner or later the Virginia State Police will be the owners of your new PRO500 !!!
