Default sad day for tht x50

so my manager at work was looking to get a detector and came to me for advice. i told her to get the 695 for a "good bang for your buck" detector but she didn't want to order one online (we don't have any around here in stores) so she turned to the x50. she had over a 2 mile save the first day while it was mounted in the middle of her windshield. so she went and got it hardwired at best buy and she was really proud of it. i go to look at can't believe it when i see the detector mounted as low as possible on the bottom left of her windshield at like a 45 degree angle to the left, not to mention behind her wind shield wipers. i told her she would get screwed but was determined it was perfect. oh well... i tried. oh and she drives a rx8... you do the math lol

edit: can't seem to spell "the" in the title

I'm always skeptical of those do-it-all guys at big stores. Most of them cant do anything right which is why I avoid them as much as I can.

I had my 9500ix hardwired into my S2000 at Best Buy ... I guided them every step of the way though.

Yeah, but I'm 6' 205 and the S2000 is small and very hard to maneuver around in, so it was aggravation I didn't need. It was $50 well spent I'd say.

Those chumps at Best buy couldnt find their arse with both hands. I would be very afraid to let them touch my vehicle. It only took me about 20 minutes to hardwire mine with the smartwire kit. I didnt put the control in the dash tho, Its just on the column where I can reach it easy.
