9500ci false laser on heavy acceleration

Like title says false laser only when heavy acceleration.
Any one have this problem?

Probably either a voltage fluctuation or ignition noise causing a glitch.

Here's one way to get rid of it: upgrade to version 1.5 firmware, then you won't get any more false laser alerts.

But seriously, if you have a multimeter, you might try hooking it up to the 9500ci's power leads and seeing if you see any voltage fluctuations during hard acceleration. You might also try an RF choke in series with the power lead, and/or those shielded spark plug wires.

Check the filter capacitor in the ignition system.

Its an 08 f150
And actually i do have 1.5 so i get a POP alert lol
