Also we come to the same problem, WHO is doing the test, if i do it, it is not credible, if LPP retailer do it again it is not fer, if you do it also it is not far, because not all is believing all...

this is endles loop of testing and trust...

Also ELVIS called ME on the PHONE to test them if YOU want to cry censorship go ahead dude but there is NO way to fake a IR test.

The only thing the LI guys are doing is providing technical SUPPORT.

I want to see where they are actually making topics advertising their product. Because I don't see them.

Thought I'd better introduce ourselves since this thread has appeared !

You're right it is a new site but we've been on the net with other websites and products since 1999 and now dispatched over 5 million orders so we're pretty experienced with mail order to all corners of the globe.

The whole episode that made me decide to contact LI initially was a speeding ticket I received 4 weeks ago taken from the back of a sneakily hidden police van (Ba*****s). It's been a steep learning curve ever since.

Our first batch of LI's & additional heads are due in a couple of days (stuck in UK customs at the moment while they decide how much duty / VAT to charge us !), more pics and info will be on the site when they arrive. There will also be an install on a Lamborghini done within a week or so of their arrival - pics of that will be uploaded to the site too.

We've received a couple of orders already, so the future looks promising.

We're keen to help, so any queries you may have please ask (via our website). If we don't know the answers off-hand (remember we are still on that learning curve at the moment !) we will do our best to find out for you.

Finally, we've put up a simple affiliate program on the website, so any of you who have websites please feel free to join it ! - all you have to do is stick a link up on you're own site and you'll earn 5% commission on every order that comes via a click-through from your site.

At that point in time he had a direct link in his signature to his online website store where he sells LI's....

A brief update ...

Our first batch of LI's are with us now and all orders that were placed prior to their arrival have been dispatched today. We went with DHL as our overseas courier in the end as 'Recorded Air Mail' just isn't up to the job with such and expensive item. DHL costs us appx. 5 times more than air mail but we are happy to cover that cost. Worldwide delivery is still free and we've adjusted our delivery pages to reflect the transport methods.

As well as credit / debit cards our cart has now also been configured to accept Paypal (confirmed addresses only).

One thing to note for overseas customers : All future customers from outside the UK will have to provide one item of verification prior to us processing (ie. charging your credit card) / dispatching your order. All is explained on our website. UK orders remain unaffected.

As mentioned by a previous poster we have removed our Sig. To find the Laser Interceptor UK website, just type those three words into Google.

My god, why do you have such a grudge against us selling the LI in the UK ?!.

I removed the website link from the sig when you complained previously (as mentioned before I did not realise this was a violation - admitted, my own fault for not reading the rules fully) ... what more can I do to stop you posting stuff like this ?!

I was going to post some images of the Diablo with an LI installed on this forum (I fitted a quad head kit in it last weekend) but no doubt it would create some controversy in one way or another - so sadly I will not be posting them here. Pics are live on our website however.

In all seriousness, at a distance of 20 meters, I dont think the cardboard in IRCMUSA's video is big enough for an LI test. It has to be atleast twice as large in total area!! 8)

I think there are several topics going on in this one thread:

LI, a jammer, like all the others. Not EXACTLY illegal, but..........depends on where you live.

NOW:

For the links and prices issue, THAT"S a forum policy.
Roy's forum, Roys rules..........which brings me to my next point:

Someone in the US has a patent on a "jammer" technique.

As I understand it, that person wants to protect his patent and seems willing to do so to the extent of the law (per se) here in the US market, where his patent is filed & on record.

Now, in the PAST, mention and promotion of an alleged infringing patent item, sent everyone scrambling to see what was okay to post and not okay to post (outside of Roy's links and "how much" rules of his forum)

So here's another jammer product which may or may not be alledged to have a patent issue with another person.

Here on the forum, its okay to talk about any of these products. As long as we as a community, don't get Roy into legal trouble and expenses....

So that's the fine line the community is trying to uphold.

NOW:

I'm not sure if IRCMUSA, wants his OWN forum devoted to LI..............
OR, to have a RD.net forum thread about LI's on this server to contribute to and talk about.

Either way, the underlying theme here, is to NOT get the Forum owner into legal trouble, which in turn, will most likely end this forum.

Will IRCMUSA clarify what his first post intended to accomplish? It seems like its simple enough to have a topic specifically related to the LI, if that's what he is asking for....................
