800 miles w/ my LI and no hits/saves yet

Been hit 7 times in in just over a year (15 months). Including an excellent save last night. Expressway was backed up then cleared, so I really start moving. Local cop in the median shoots me 500-700 feet. brakes, kill and drive right by...Had a carload of passengers who were duly impressed.

Think defense not offense. You are not trying to get hit, but wanting to be prepared when you do get hit. No hits = no chance of PT.

I feel protected enough to speed and I'm glad I have it - just in case.

I have not had an actual jammer save in ages here. Just over 2 years actually. I'm not bothered though as the jammers are still giving me peace of mind while I'm driving so they are still doing their job in that regard.

I get hit once a week living in Cincinnati. It's unbelievable how often the cops are out - I have a 7 minute commute to school each morning and I see MINIMUM 1 motorcycle guy with a truspeed and one cruiser shooting a LTI 20/20. Every. Single. Day on 71 Northbound between exit 3 and 5.

Heh! I haven't been hit by LIDAR since I bought my V1 in 2007.

First of all, it's not like it's consistent. I get hit when I get hit. Sometimes it's more often than others.

I see LEOs EVERY TIME I'm on 71 in the Cincy area, even up by 275. Last time I saw laser was a shot from one in the median just inside the 275 belt, 955 screamed Laser and I couldnt see anything. Traffic was quite thick, i thought maybe it was false, then it screamed again... still no visual. Finally almost 6 full seconds after the first alert I see him come into my line of sight almsot as I'm passing him. The 955 Picked up not one, but two scatter shots that day. But that was the last time i saw active Laser enforcement, course any of the other LEOs I've seen recently could have been running it, i either just didn't get an alert, or wasn't speeding (since I don't speed much anymore anyway) so I wasn't targeted.

You really don't want to be targeted, LI or no LI.
