Yet all the more reason not to trust manufacturer vids, photo's, or data. No manufacturer prototypes for testing. You don't know what your getting.

Second depending on the day, the car, the mount, the weather you can get very different results with any one jammer and gun combo.

Would I trust an AL on my car at this point? Nope, but I would like to see more testing of the retail product to see it's true relative performance.

We need MORE INDEPENDANT TESTING of LASER JAMMERS!

I think this is the only way to get a true figure...test on various cars by consumers..get more videos of speed traps....Im sure there are alot of places accross the USA that you can hire a laser gun from.

Understood, It was just a thought. It's not like you had honest and bias opinions testing the unit like the GOL guys.

If I'm not mistaken, having Go.mouse and JTW test the AL is like having Coke doing a taste test for Pepsi.

Very interesting thought on renting a gun. Does anyone know of a place that does this? If nothing else than to test a car setup once a jammer is installed this would be very helpful.

Even if it's not an independent test it would be nice to have the various jammer manufactures more involved after the installation is done . For example, the fact that Drivesmart offers installation and test runs at their facility using a laser gun in my opinion is definitely "smart" and a selling point for them. This way the end user has a chance to have his own real life opinion.

Yes!!! infact if all manufacturers got more involved their sales would tripple...After sales support is more important most of the time than the actual sale!

In my line of work if there is no after sales service there is NO sale! Id say atleast 80% of my business is referal business due to the time I invest in current clients!

AGREED, but in the video he SAYS it is enough for a mid sized car!! So it doesnt matter what car they used in the video big, small, truck,,,the fact of the matter is he "SAID" it is enough for a mid sized car!

LASERFANATIC- After the issue with the laser mimic JTW came out in the open and said that the units wer juiced and he took the wrap...so id say YES you can trust him!

I think we are missing the point. jtw talks about sabotage when he comited the worst case of it! he purposely did not shoot any other part of the vehicle like the headlights because he already knew laser mimics weakness. He PURPOSELY shot at the transponders, plate, so he can get the famous JTG! He used the weak pro laser along w/ straight on shots, used no headlight shots, no angle shots. His hole test was staged with evil intentions. at that tiem he was out to hurt blinder. Now he is out to hurt antilaser so he will do whatever he can to promote the ds. JTW answer this are you going to be selling the DS? Are you going to be associated with them in ANY way? Why did he not use the stalker or ultralyte? Why did he not used the laser atlanta? point proven
