    Default Impressed with AL G8

I was driving down to another city.... i got lasered by a PL 3 from the front at about 300m (984.3 feet). I was travelling 160kph(99.4mph) in a 120kph (74.6mph) speed limit zone... I managed to slow down to the speed limit, flip my AL off, gave the LEO a reading and drove right pass... The LEO was stunned abit as he turned around to look at me, probably wondering why he couldnt get an instant reading... lol...

I was pretty impressed as my AL saved me yet again...

I just thought i would share this moment with you, it saved me from a hefty ticket....

Are they legal in your neck of the woods? Getting strange looks from the Leo doesnt reassure me that I can run without drawing attention to myself

Dude don't get a laser jammer then cause any officer trained on how to operate a laser gun can pretty much get a instant reading on about any car. And adding any jammer will not give him the instant reading and he will be a bit perplexed by this

Driving at that speed is silly anyway.. at 300mtrs he would have known you wer speeding i assure you that!

I would have pulled you in and wrote a Visual estimate ticket.

Thats why the install has to be kick ass stealthy. As jammers become more common Leos are going to catch on and I predict they will be pulling folks over when they dont get that reading in short order.

I know you said something about the blinder having two big heads why don't you get the Stealth lift and hide kit for the jammer

Jammers are not illegal here... well not yet... Also i havent heard of any LEO writing a ticket based on a visual estimate.

I was rushing as i do not like to drive during the night especially with big a$$ trucks on the road trying to overtake...
