I looked in the thread listing what bands are used where and dont really see any x band on there. Ill be driving all in fayette county and going from there to pulaski county regularly so can anyone confirm that i wont encounter any x band guns. Also if anyone knows how a V1 behaves in Lexington it would be cool to know since thats were ill drive alot and im trying to decide between V1 and 9500i. Thanks guys.

i just dont want a detector thats going off all the time i dont really mind a few falses cause to me that just proves its working. i figure ill turn x band off if its not used anywhere near me so that should handle some of the store alerts. I would really like something much better in the hills and curves than the 955 im using now but i also do some city driving. Thanks

With X band off and Pop off a v1 will be pretty quiet...you could even throw some K band filtering options in there but ehh idk im not a big fan...trust me once u know what sources of radar are coming form which direction and what bands they are you will never go back to nething besides a v1

i dont really see how you can go wrong with a V1 if it is always detecting radar that just shows me that its working. Where i live they run a lot of I/O and i dont really need something that could filter it out.

The Lexington PD traffic division uses white unmarked Crown Vics, in fact I'm pretty sure that is all they use. Watch for those. Last time I was up there I saw quite a few throughout the city.
