Lmao!!
Commuting to work today, I had another encounter where I had no prior alert. It was probably the same LEO as he was almost in the same location as in my previous vid.
I only had Xoff. I left all other bands and laser detecton on.
At times I was doing 30+ the PSL of 50 mph on the service road. Scary what could have happened. I only slowed down because I noticed the cars in front on me were slowing down.
I have no idea how this LEO was planning on catching speeders, based on his position. It would have been hard for me to see him as he was right undereath the overpass in the shadows (staying cool from the sun, lol).

Same exact thing happened to me last might. I was going 35 over in a 65, and about a quarter mile ahead I see someone braking. I instantly brake too, thinking they are brakig because they see a cop. Usually people don't brake when there are cops present because people upstate are oblivious o their surroundiNgs and cops are hard to see here at night. Also, people seem to brake here for no reason and usually I don't pay attention to "random brakers" but this time I'm glad I did because I was going too fast.
I do about 150 miles per day on LIE, NSP and SSP. I drive a minivan for the job but also my Mustang and have been using detectors since Fuzz Buster days.
The Sheriff are definitely using Laser because most times my V1 is silent.
Much different than when SCPD was running the show.
Also notice they sit perpendicular to the road.
On SSP it's a combination of Ka and Laser, mostly laser.
Same on NSP.
They certainly are creatures of habit, and the exit 39/37 LIE, up the on ramp is classic.
Lot's of interference over there as well.
Out east they hide in the middle up close next to the overpasses so you can't even see them. By exit 62-64 they hide on the right side, behind an overpass in the grass and you won't see them until you are in front of them or observe a rabbit braking.
So......with all this laser crap going on here, should I sell my V1 and go for a Redline coupled with a jammer?
Do these things really work?
FWIW the only time my V1 beeps on laser is when an Infinity or Audi is in the area.
Advice please!!!
TIA

Agree, keep the V1 and get jammers for laser.
