Slowing down can also save you in your wallet. Keller said statistics show that every five miles per hour you drive over 60 will cost you 30 cents more per gallon for gas.

Yea, because gas costs more depending on how fast you drive. . .

Fuel economy decreases. Less MPG means you'll fill up more ofter. 30 cents may be a bit high. I'll go with 3 cents per MPH over 60 per gallon.

I've had an encounter, or have seen a LEO about every 10 miles this week in NY. Like 7 LEO's in 80 miles. I started a thread to share my experience yesterday.

Yea I know what he was trying to say, but I was just pointing out that the price of gas doesn't change, but rather how much you use.
