We had an engineer do some testing back east just last week with the cover and the Veil. The cover did work, but the Veil worked better!
He also suggested that people that would want to test to get an general idea how these would work, would use a standard laser pointer during the night to check the reflectivity
Bob, what are your thoughts on this?

Actually I just was beaming a laser pointer on my headlights, and then on my other cars headlights w/o veil. the veil absorbs the laser pretty darn wellOriginally Posted by RadarRoy

i don't notice any real loss of distance, it just takes the "edge" off the brightness.
meaning, if your stopped and your lights shine a certain distance, they seem to still shine about the same. instead of say a "bright" white, it's "slightly" off bright white.
if you took a piece of window tint that barely had tint to it, looking almost clear still, and put it across your headlight, that's what you would get.
