Default idea for stealth mode radar

Idea for stealth mode radar. Using the harmonics so that the filtering algrotherums would overlook the police radar just as with laser atlantas lidar. Basicly in turn making it look like another radar detector when in reality your being nailed!!

    Um...

    2 Things:

Most high-end RD's alert to other RD's anyways... just not a very good range, because well the RD's do try to filter Junk out.

The RD companies would simply change their filtering algorithms... or whatever technique they employ... and viola we have RD's working top-notch again.

But I guess if you want to give the Radar Gun makers ideas.... So that: Your taxes pay for newely equipped LEO's, and you have to buy a new RD...

Plus... since radar works at a given frequency (whereas LIDAR works at ~904nm and a certain pulse-rate), I think what your talking about would be extremely similar to 'POP' mode. *Trying to make it to short for RD's to catch it... or so short, the RD's simply filter it out.*

Just my .02... someone else could chime in with a bit more expert material.

    Default I am not...

I am not talking at all like pop this unit would be totally different.... totally different principle. It would work like such... Radar detectors J out other radar detectors all the time because they know to look for the second and thrid harmonic that isn't normally present on police radar all the police would have to do is add those harmonic's to their radar and then your detector would become useless due to the fact that the filtering algrotherum's would junk out the signal. I am not at all talking about like a pop feature this has nothing to do with duration of the beam transmission. This could potentally be very accuret since you are keeping the origanal accurcy and merely adding harmonics for detectors to Junk you out.

Then (as I said) the RD manufacturers would simply change their algorithms... it may cause a few more falses, but I am sure that companies would have a solution in about no time.

    Default Ya...but..

Ya..but just think about all the crap it would put us through as detector users having to all go out and purchase a new unit!! OUch!! Not to mention how much would a new unit cost i have the feeling supply and demand would come into play another ouch! Not saying it couldn't possibly be eventually beaten it would sure suck tho..!

This would only work against the top 3 though since those are the only ones I know that filter in such a way as to "J" out another RD and as I have read the V1 does from time to time actually "J" out a real police radar so it's really already doing that
