He said K band pop. Pop is not used anywhere that I know of and the MPH user manual specifically says that pop is not to be used to issue citations.

Correct POP radar is suppose to be used to get an initial reading, then is suppose to use instant- on or constant- on radar along with visual identification of the violator.
