Default M4 platform USELESS X band spec meter

Escort professes 2 Ka, 2K, and 4 USELESS X on Expert meter. May be so on the S7 but not on the M4. DON'T LIE ABOUT YOUR SH1T!! I think this day in age, they should give X just one spot and break up K and Ka into six or whatever. If not possible, then dont advertise bullsh1t!!!!!! GOL if you're real for sure, then tell me differently. But you know, everythings "coming soon!". There is no M4 4 X capibilities!

Talking some BS i see, Escorts do show 2 Ka, 2K, and 4 X on both S7's/M4's and all new RD's but the IQ, so there is no lie there???? Its also announces "multiple signals detected" when there are 2 different signals detected for added protection on the 9500ix and RedLine.
Is it perfect? No, but works quite well if you know how to use it.

The idea is you want more info on falses than real threats because its obvious. KA is almost always a threat and though it would be nice to be notified of more than 2 it does its job. Knowing there is 3 X band when there were 2 before is helpful, more so for places like NJ where X band is still used.

Would i want 4 KA's shown, sure. And I believe that's why the IQ now has this feature. Lets just hope that add it to new units.

I'm not fully sure what you are saying here:

Are you saying that that an M4 cannot report 4) X-band signals or are you saying that it is worthless?

If you are saying it is not capable of reporting them... how did you determine that? I have to say that is (from my experiences) not true. (Both the S7/M4 are capable from my experiences)... but last time I checked was when M4's just came out.

If you are saying that it would be better to have 3Ka, 3K, 2X... that I have to agree with. Outside of New Jersey (in other words a miniscule portion of the RD market)... 4X band signal-tracking is exponentially less important than Ka/K tracking. X-band is so unimportant it basically isn't used anymore

Maybe if you explained better we would understand?

are you saying in spec mode it doesn't show multiple signals? Are you saying in Expert mode it doesn't show 4 x band?

Please share, because i think we are misunderstanding what your trying to say then. Because you said "Escort professes 2 Ka, 2K, and 4 X on SPEC meter" which we know both of those features are specific to there modes spec/expert mode respectivley, not both at the same time.

i really dont get your point, if my unit reports there is radar in the area and only alerts me of 2 bands verses 3 or 4 who cares? do i really need to know what freq they are?
i thought the whole point of having a RD is to let you know when LEO are looking for speeders.
the unit does that just fine.
do you slow down more or react any different when there are 2 bogys or 4?
if you let stuff like that bother you i think u have some issues.

You need to spend more time on the forum... clear as day in your response, read as many articles you can on Bogey counter (V1) AND the spec/exp modes on Escorts.

You will see why such information is critically important.

    ^^^

He says it cannot show 4 x-band signals on an M4... so that doesn't prove much, even if we assume it is an M4.
