I noticed this link when I did a search to get this website on another computer. Some of these officers appear to know what they are talking about but it appears that there are two people in that thread that don't have a clue. One went so far to say that Police technology is moving too fast for Radar Detector makers to keep up. I thought that was laughable. I wish I could of been a part of that thread.

I recall that the latest federal government study said that speeding alone was responsible for something like only 5 or 6 percent of all road fatalities?

The greatest part is [radar detectors] are only 1% accurate if that. They won't detect cops because of the changing technology. And then everything else sets them off. And gee, do I wish Ohio would consider using a radar detector in a vehicle as obstruction.
