Default save a potential buyer of overprice RD and LJ.

so today i was with my friend at this car audio N accessorie place to have his auto tint done. as i was waiting i overheard the conversation between the salesperson and a potential customer. he was talkin so highly of all the RD he had for sale. escort 9500i,ix, 8500x50, few cobras, QI45..etc. the sales guys was pushing him to buy a 8500x50 for $350. i was thinking, holy cow!! this guy going to get so rip off. also, the salesperson was telling him how great the ZR4 that he also have in stock. and that it will save him a laser ticket (the guy drives a big truck). well after the salesperson went to do something else, i went over to the gentlemen and told him what is good and that he could get a much better deal on something better and cheaper online. and that ZR4 will burn through his truck. luckily he met me and decide to not to buy any of it until he check out some reviews and what is best for his big monster truck. he thank me and left with a merry way.

Good job warning him about the ineffectiveness of the ZR4s on his huge truck. Hopefully he'll find his way to this site and we'll get him all fixed up.

i see this all too often. whenever i worked at circuit city in customer service, i would frequently go help out at car electronics because i was well versed on radar/laser countermeasures, and i'm pretty sure i'm the reason we went out of business!

haha i made up for it of course, but i feel good for keeping a lot of good people out of potentially bad tickets.

that along with their mass layoffs of senior employees really tanked them. its really interesting to pull up CC stocks and look at the years where they took off commission, did layoffs, etc...

a lot of upper management problems.

Strangely, the Circuit City business is back up and running. Some company bought their name and now has a website up.

way to be a money saver. I found it is interesting to go into a local Best Buy or Nebraska Furniture Mart and ask a sales rep in the Car electronics Dept. what type of radar detector I should get, I have yet to be impressed by any of them\.

I ordered my grandparent's Christmas present from there, so it's been up for at least that long. Didn't have any problems with them.

Locally, some off-brand electronics store set up in the old Circuit City building. 2/3 of the floor space is dedicated to appliances....
