    The antenna can handle it okay. But there are often SWR issues with mag mounts because of the iffy ground.

    Your coils may handle many, many watts but effective use of the power diminishes after 50 watts.

    There are many issues to consider:

    Antenna placement, type, cable length, quality of equipment, grounding end to end, weather and so on. Pump 2000 watts through a mag mount and watch things melt.

    I have pumped 350 watts through a mag mount and could feel the feedback on my hands and face via the microphone. Seriously.
