my only complaint about the Escort 8500x50 is the winshield mount. It's a very bad design.

i was wondering this myself. If your state doesn't use it is it better to shut it off?

i see that i can get the Bel 995 for $217 online but they're not an authorized dealer so my warranty useless right?
