that is only true for the smartcord. i hardwired my x50 with the excort hardwire cable and my v1 works fine with it...you just cant use the smart cord otherwise as said, you cant change modes.

what are my options. if i send it in to get updated to 3.864 from 863 will that be done free of charge because it is not a year old yet? and could that possible fix my problem?

im not sure if i ever noticed the lock tone in this situation. im pretty sure i can mute an alert and then it will go away for a few seconds(im pretty sure more then 5-10) and then a new alert will...

after i mute my v1 to an alert, even after i pas the cop and the alert fades out, and another comes up the v1 stays muted and i get no audible alert to the target.
