    Default 07 Vibe V1 Hardwired + CD + Mute

Here is my 07 vibe install, I have the V1 hardwired with a lighted kill switch, CD on the steering column & mute on the blinker stick .I'm trying to figure out what route to take with the V1 mount I have a trimmed down rubber door stop from Dollar Tree that I'm using to keep my visor level for the V1 but I just don't like it, have really been thinking of going to the Blend Mount or the Super Z mount or even the Visor Bag that I have seen on Flee bay.
I'm not sure what to do with it, the tint strip is LLumar & is a metal type window tint that won't turn purple, but I'm think it might effect the V1 performances.
    Any thoughts..

Awesome install! You can't even see the V1 from the front. The tint is non-metallic right?

Hey man, awesome install, I'm very interested in how the CD and mute button are wired together.

yea im concerned about this also. i really would like my detector on my visor or above my rear view mirror but my tint will probably alter the detection range by diffusing the rays that come through/out the windshield.

If the tint is non-metallic, then mounting your RD behind it will not decrease detection range.

drive to the front a of store and grab the v1, put it up high against the tint and note the strength on the led's, them move it lower on the window below the tint, does the strength dramatically increase? If so it is metallic.
