Already impressed and my v1 isnt even here!

Wow... maybe they made a mistake, but when I called monday, I asked for a refurb unit and said "I want 2nd day air if I can get it before this weekend, otherwise ship it ground. He understood and I hung up. They called me less than 24 hours later and wanted me to call back to double check with them to make sure I still wanted it, I did so I called back and he told me I would be charged, etc. I said thank for your help, and he said they were shipping 2nd day air, I was surprised he remembered, or they kept log of that. So its due tomorrow, and I checked to see how much the charge went through for. He told me it was like 5 bux or somthing for ground, and 16 somthing for 2nd day air. He charged me for the ground shipping price and gave me second day air. The total came to 366.75 which was the unit with ground shipping, but its gonna be here in 2! awsome.

Too good to be true, its like getting my x50 with roy all over again!

i am pretty sure you will love your v1 lets us know what you think when you get it and test it out happy to see that you can compare it to the x50 in radar range :wink:

ever since I got my V1 about a week ago, I haven't seen one stationary radar checkpoint, WTF!!!!!!!!!!

I know the felling..
I just found a stationary Ka radar last night to test my V1.
I got a nice over the horizon detection. But I was not able to compare it to the RX65's range.
I still have not been hit with laser this month too. It is getting lame.

I also ordered a refurbished V1, I was sent the V1 after 1 day. I saw no wait.
I also got a refurbished concealed display. I see no problem so far with a refurbished version.

Not for nothing noob, but when someone does you a solid like that, you should return the favor by not blabbing about it to the entire V1 community.

Im sorry if I show everyone that valentine research took the time to remember a small but important part of my purchase. I was not impressed with the charge being 6.75 instead of 16 whatever, but I was more impressed that he remembered (he never asked if I wanted it ground or 2nd day shipping, showing that he at least remembered me, or took note) to give me 2nd day air only if it could be here before the weekend.

After 360 dollars, I could care less about a 10 dollar difference. Sorry for talking about my good experience. I do understand where your coming from.

Myh fist encounter that i had with the V1 was a scary one 3 cops at the same time two running instant one One K and one KA and another running constant on K all with in a 3 miles. I was sold after that
