V1 and Infiniti laser Cruise

Will a V1 mounted inside an Infiniti with laser cruise control set off laser? I need to know so I can decide whether to choose this option on my vehicle.

Yes. Apparently one Infiniti owner here duct tapes his ACC sensor window because even when ACC is turned off the thing still emits laser.

that is correct! I put electrical tape over the sensor to solve the issue as there is no way to turn it off fully. My V1 works perfectly now.... I never used the assisted cruise anyway here in LA so it didn't matter if I covered it up. Enjoy the FX! Amazing Car!

For the love of god, please dont buy that crap. Please be mindfull and respectfull of other RD users, we loath people with that feature. Its bad enough if normal falses, now we have active cruise control flooding the roads with Laser false and even Ka falses.

I wish automobile manfactures to use other freq/methods. Lazy bastards.

I had an Infinity behind me a few times. It was very irritating. I gunned it and didn't let off until I got about 2 miles ahead of that thing before I slowed back down to the limit.
