I dunno. But as far as RDs go, I always like to buy brand new rather than used.

Your V1 is rev.3.817 or lower, that means your V1 has the old Analog temperature compensation circuit which is not very accurate/reliable and your V1 could fall out of tune without giving you the "E" (error) warning.
Second very important reason is K and especially Ka-band filtering.Older V1's,like yours, have more false alerts, than the newer V1's do.
First POP V1 was rev.3.817,but it was only POP1 capable(only 67m/s Ka-POP,w/o K-band POP) and it didn't have the option "J" to turn off POP.The problems started when VR introduced POP2 capable V1 rev.3.818.First there was a problem with "Junking" a real Ka alerts, then there were the "ghosting" problems, after that VR released the worst rev. ever(IMO),which was rev.3.824.Allmost all V1 with this rev. noumber, could not enable option "7"(NO K-band AutoMuting!!!)Originally Posted by RadarKid
Some people prefer pre-POP V1,because those units didn't have so many bugs/problems as early POP2 units.
