Which is better ka gaurd off or on?? And what does guard off detect that guard on doesnt? Do both get same ka detection?

Ka Guard OFF is better. Guard is like RDR, valentine is just using a different word for it. It deactivates the anti Ka falsing feature of the V1 which makes it much more faster for super fast I/O or Q/T shots. It is pretty much impossible to miss a shot with Guard OFF on the V1.

The draw back is that your V1 will now false on low end detectors like cobra. Having said that, I run my V1 Ka Guard ON with my STiR Plus and I have yet to see the V1 miss a shot.

I am not familiar with the junk feature so I will let someone else answer that one

Pretty sure when you turn Ka guard off you deactivate the "junk" feature. Ka guard off is like taking off your Revo's and looking at the sun. I sometimes play around with the Ka guard but the ka false alerts are not to my liking. Ka guard on works just fine for me. The new ESP feature has its part to play when it comes to the V1's band segregation just need a third party to get involved.
