940s and 960s are virtually identical to the 985 and differ in firmware features. Newer vintage 940/960s suppress crappy RD falses better than older units, in my experience. Set to CITY ALL/Auto-Mute, these RDs work very well in that one gets a single alarm event until the strength rises, which mimics the V1 bogey lock in usefulness.
