so what do the x50 users make of the new gol test

well ive gotten 2+ miles on Ka 35.5 and easily 1.8 on Ka 34.7.... I dont care what the tests say, i had tons of time to slow down. and from my experiances i like my X50 better then the V1 because less falses and my X50 has performed better from off-axis hits. Now honestly if i was crusing down the highway and a LEO was shooting Ka 5 miles ahead i would not want it to alert me until like 1.8-2mi depending on speed. and like Arashi said that test was pure sensitivity, you know the stuff that makes your detector false. I see why the X50 did "poor" well its because it has the best filtering of those detectors and the V1 has the least.

I have to say that agree, the X50 does have the best filtering. My STI gives a little better advanced warning for Ka 33.8, and that is all that I know.

I know the X50 warn's me of K band speed signs around bends about 25-30 seconds well travelling at around 130 KM/H.

honestly the tests are really nice but a even better test for true range is sit on a real overpass with a real Ka gun shooting real cars on a real highway. Yes it is much harder to test but ultimatly these things are not meant to go up against in lab scenarios in the real world.

you guys pretty much summed it up, anyway on the OTH test the x50 was not too far behind and it definetly falses a lot less to crapas and other junk sources

Personally I don't care one little bit what the test says. I know how my X50 performs in the real-world, and it is awesome....I guess if someone doesn't like the results, then don't get the X50...it won't bother me. One thing I would like to have seen is testing of the X50 rev 6.1.
