Laser in Spec mode

just a simple question and i couldn't find it on the search thingy...does the x50, or the rx65 too i guess, display anything if u are in spec mode and get hit with laser besides LASER

Nope, I just tried it on the RX-65, all it says is "LASER". Wouldn't it be nice if it said the pulse rate or something though

thats what i was thinking..that should be something they should do for the next version or something

Cobra made sort of a halfhearted attempt to ID the different laser guns. Sometimes it would get it right, sometimes it wouldn't. I would think that Belscort could make it work if they wanted to. It would be a really nice feature. Especially if I could use it to identify falses from airports.

I mentioned the same thing recently... Belscort should add a pulse rate display to the laser alert in spec mode.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do, since I'm sure the RD calculates the pulse rate as part of its anti-falsing algorithm as it is.

Maybe a future version could add it.
