3 over the limit doesnt even get a Look in my area, 10+ over , then you got problems.

I had a GX 65, supposidly the same performance as an 9500 ix , whether mine was weak I dont know.

But the sti I have now seems to pick up instant on at great distances, I never saw that level of sensitivity with the Gx.

The only hope with instant on, is they fire on somebody and you have a detector sensitive enough to pick that signal up temporarily.

example, today I was on service road adjacent and parralel to major thoroughfare. I started getting kaband hits, then they quit . 1 mile down the road, there was 3 mc cops using instant on, and they were firing on the elevated major thoroughfare, not in my direction, I thought that was very good, instant on detection, and was also off axis.
