Taking down my RD to get through the gate does get old, but it's not that much of a hassle. I just didn't want to get a CI due to the fact that it comes with shifters that I don't plan on using. Also when I do move to an area that uses laser and have to get CMs, I have to decide whether to get dual or quad heads since I drive a truck.

I guess the restocking fee might be worth it over the hassle of doing the ebay thing, but I am outside of the 14 day window. I did buy it with a CC, what would my other options be?

Yes ! Tx Dps loves to wait on the other side of a hill and shoot you forward facing 34.7 in your rear view mirror (suprise) The deadliest trooper i always ecounter is near Snyder,tx and has many hiding spots like coming around a curve and he is shooting his rear Antenna at traffic.

We have family in San Antonio and the 8 hour trip there from Clovis can be so much faster if I go just a bit over PSL. I wonder would my trip be longer from slowing down to all the V1/Redline falses or from slowing down by not having over the hill/curve confidence in my 9500ix?

Some CC company's extend warranties and return's ext... You can also dispute the charge if BB doesn't assist you. Don't be afraid to ask for a manager if a sales clerk cant assist you at BB.
But most of all be cool and ask for them to help you out. Be creative if nesisary, My wife flipped her lid, my mom found out and is going to kick my @ss ect... Last resort would be CC company assistance, product didn't work ect...

If BB carry's the 9500ci maybe they will put the whole $$$ amount towards it. The jammers are good laser sensors anyway.

Texas and New Mexico have millions of Cobras and Unidens and other leaky Rd's on the roads. Radar detectors can filter most of them out. Whistler has 3 filter modes for this reason. But when there is 6 other radar detectors coming at you then your going to have some falses. All the Interstates in Texas are flooded with Radar detectors. USE A RABBIT !!

If they carried the 9500ci I bet I could probably negotiate them putting the cost towards it even though I'm outside the 14 day window. I don't think they do, however, and I'm worried about the laser shifters. I drive a black 2010 Tundra and was wondering if I would need 4 heads ala M47 to protect me or if 2 would be enough. Also I heard LI is the reigning king of laser protection so I have the conundrum of do I go LI dual or M47 quad, I have no idea which would give me better protection. I read that running two different jammers can cause lots of problems, though, so I don't think I could get the ci.

Just checked BB website, they don't carry the CI. I didn't remember seeing it there either as I essentially went in and bought the most expensive one they had (the 9500ix). Oh well.

I need a favor ! There is a big tower beside the Allsups HQ that has a bunch of satellite dishes on it. All my Rd's have gone off because of the tower in 33.8 Ka. It is a very strong Ka source and will alert to it from miles away. I'm curious if your detector alerts to it.

Is the HQ the one on Thornton? Let me know where it's at and I'll check on my way to work tomorrow morning.
