Mine's use to give a laser alert when I adjusted my side mirrors. There is no fix as far as I know.

Checking your positive and ground connection isn't a bad idea to solve the laser falsing with acceleration. What has seemed to work for many on our forum is a ferrite choke installed on the power lines of the hardwire, anywhere on them should work. Radio Shack should carry these. It's basically just a magnet that snaps around the wires. I would loop the wires around the choke so that it doesn't slide around (ie have the wires go through the choke twice).

I was able to solve this problem on every vehicle I encountered it on by simply re-routing the wires.

I had this issue on my audi with the horn, the Miata with high Revs and shifting and the pilot it just happened rendomly. As soon as I moved the wire from near the horn or wherever wire the problem went away.

Haha yeah my x50 would go off occasionally if I honked or locked/unlocked the doors lol.

If the ferrite chokes don't work, go buy a 470 microfarad capacitor rated for 25 volts or higher and install it between the power and ground of your power source. Be sure to note the polarity if using an electrolytic capacitor. Should fix you right up.
