I'm also considering putting the SRX front heads on the back of the car and getting a dual LI for the front. We will see!

I'm pretty happy with the SRX laser performance but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Also one thing that was noticed is that the passenger side front head was not pointing perfectly forward, I'm sure this may have effected the results a bit. Although they were level!
Add VEIL and LaserShield and then get it tested again

I still haven't installed my (single) rear head which I was thinking of mounting by the license plate. Based on the tests of the rears of similar BMW's I am now concerned that one will not be enough. Other than in tests, has anyone taken one in the rear here in New England?
Wish you were there. THe results for the Audi were originally posted but have since been removed because of potential banning. So we will no longer be discussing his "electronic countermeasures here." If you really want to know the details, PM me your email address or call me if you still have my phone number.
From what I have seen from multiple test sessions, one rear head mounted on your license plate will leave your rear end very well protected. If you decide to go the route of the A8 owner and have the tail lamps airbrushed in Veil, you most likely will not have to add a second rear head.
I've been stressing how potent a single LI head can be if it is installed level and aligned for quite some time. Some still don't believe me. On Sonny03106's car, the aim point to achieve those PT #'s was slightly to right of the passenger tail light. If I would have focused the gun directly on the PTL, it would have been JFG all day long.
Last, afaik, there is one member who saw a CTSP Charger setting up for rear lidar on the Merritt Pkwy here in CT. First reported case of this that I have heard in my state.

It was removed by the owner prior to the event. He will be reinstalling it in a few.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to ensure that the heads are level and aligned when installing them. PTs can go from infinite to nonexistent within a few degrees. So get that taken care of and add Veil if you need to.

Here's the rear shot of Sonny03106's car. The second rear head will be reinstalled soon.
Driver side rear sensor was defective right from beginning but it took me a while to debug and figure it out. Cliff sent me a new one but for some reason the cable was about 4 feet too short. He is in process of sending me an extension cable with coupler. I should be getting it sometime this week. Once that is done I think I will be 99% all set. For the last %1 I think I might have to do something about passive countermeasures.

Heres a pic of my veil plate. Seems to help my single rear ZR-4. JFG from pro-laser 3 all day anywhere on my car. PT of Ultralyte LR-B and what ever steath stalker owns before 400ft on plate and JFT after 400ft on plate. Looking to move the rear zr-4 from the original PIC to out foward since the shifter covers the tag light and i got pulled over 2 times already for that. Cops did no see the shifter and didnt say anything about the veil plate. Just said my tag light was out. The second D!ck gave me a written warning.

You can bearly tell someone veiled the taillights unless they used all the veil. I would recommand everyone use 1 coat of veil to the rear tail light just because you cant tell its on even using the foam brush. The front head light is a diffrent story. I still haven't perfected veiling the front headlights yet with a foam brush but im d@m good at using the foam brush on the rear and tag.

I think putting the SRX sensors on the back is a bad idea. Rear laser attacks are always at point blank range. They will be no match for any rear laser attacks with the big flat surface of the Corvette. The rear LIs are about the only laser jammer that can properly protect the back of that car. If you skimp on protection back there, you'll might regret it.

Also, they will detect every Infiniti that you pass for miles.

I really don't think it would be any more sensitive than the current head back there. I get very few false alerts on laser as it is. I think with veil on the tail lights and a laser shield plate cover the rear should do well. I mean is did pretty decent as it is now anyway with the single head.

The only reason why I would put them in the back is because I bought the SRX system for very cheap on ebay. The radar detection works very well so I wouldn't be taking the system out of the car. Rear laser encounters are rare but I think with some passive countermeasures and three heads it will do well enough for me. I can't justify nearly double the price to put rear LI heads on when it doesn't do too bad as it is. I just want a little better protection from the rear and front than I already have.

We have been organizing this test publically for almost 2.5 weeks now...Sorry you missed the thread.

If you had a different jammer than the LI and were close to me I would offer to test your set-up but I am LI'd out at the moment, to many JTGs

I must have missed the thread. Looking forward to many JTGs from my LI, however it hasn't been tested yet.

Hey SpdFreak, what area do you live? If you organize an event for sometime this summer (couple of month for now or something) I will be interested in showing up (and donate money toward the gun rentals) IF it is somewhere in NH, ME, OR Mass.

I may be up for it too once I make a few tweaks (large or small) to my system if it isn't too far (MA, RI, CT, NH).
