    Thumbs up external voice interface?

Has anyone out there ever used the voice output on 9500i to power a relay to operate a horn or other device. I checked it with my multimeter and the output appears to be about 2 volts ac. I only get a reading on the ac scale, nothing on dc which seems a bit strange to me. I ride a Suzuki Burgman 650 and you can't hear the thing at speed so I figured I'd set it up to blow the horn when I get an alert.

Even better might be the flashing LED alert bar for motorcycles which some company sells. It plugs into the speaker/earphone jack. I can't remember the name of the company which makes it.

Or actually you can use what's called the Radar Screamer it's on the motorcycleradar website.

I don't think that was it. This was a display module of either one or two rows of flashing LEDs which plugged into the speaker jack.

That is very, very similar. The one I am thinking of was designed to be mounted on the bike's instrument cluster and all the LEDs flashed at the same time. I wonder if Cheetah bought out the company which made the one I am thinking of? Dang it! All my browser bookmarks are on my home computer and right now I am using my dad's computer.

I'm going to try and take the voice output and try running it through my 500 watt amp and see how it sounds through my 2 12" JL subs.
