I tried with the bumper on. And i cant seem to get them facing center of the car. If they are on the left side of the car, the head faces to the left a lot. There is not enough room/lip under where i screw the head for me to move them in more to make them face center. They are level fine, just getting it center is my problem. Thats why im going to take the front off and see how far back i can really go and mount them like that.

Where exactly are you mounting them in the bumper?

    i fixed your link...lol

i havent got a li yet, but i thought that mounting a bracket and mounting it from the side would be the best place.

is there anyway you can mount it to just under the hood or is there no place to mount it?

Either location is fine as long as the heads are level and strait. They are less conspicuos where they are going to be mounted now. But what happens when the OP wants to upgrade the intercooler. 8) The ones the guys around my area have tend to fill up the entire bumper opening.

Haha, that's a picture of my old car that I uploaded for him. I really recommend him not do that... the areas I picked are great because the cover most of the entire car. If you space them out anymore or make them closer he might not have full coverage.

Yup, its your picture. Reason i have to move them in about 2 inches is because the location u put, there is a small curve mold for the bumper that is not straight at all. It will be impossible to put them at the far ends. So i am going to just move then in about 1 to 2 inches. They are still good apart and everything.

    Thanks for fixing the link.

Also its hard to mount straight cause the bumper obviously curves with the car body. And since there is no extra lip going in dept wise, i have no room to play with it and make them center with the car. Thats my only damn problem, makes me mad

If you look in the picture, i was thinking about mounted them right above the yellow blocks inside the vent area. That area is all level and i can make them as straight as i want. Everyone i ask said no cause its not a good place, so im left with taking the front off tomorrow and trying agai

I use 3M tape and it works fine.. It would take a lot of work to remove the sensors. The only issue I am worried about is how it will handle water, but the tape says its waterproof so I will find out next time it rains.

I've used "hard as nails" exterior tape for my LPP and LI installs with no problems. Both never needed replacing
