Thanks Al for the answer, which is one of the FAQ for Cheetah Laser Jammer Interface:

My battery is not in the engine bay. Can I still use your Laser Jammer Interface to make my jammer install wireless?

No problem. You can still use the Laser Jammer Interface to avoid the hassle of cable runs. Simply remove the POWERnode engine running sensor from the assembly. To do this, unclip the POWERnode from between its fuse pack and the STEALTHnode switch, and then just connect the fuse pack directly to the STEALTHnode. Instead of connecting to a battery, you should now hardwire the fuse pack to a switched live power supply in the engine bay. If you are unsure what a switched live supply is, please do not attempt this yourself - consult a qualified auto electrician.
