OK, you're right, but WHERE IS MY USB SOFTWARE for 9500i?!! I don't need Trinity Database, I don't want AutoLock and 9500i software is still unavailable. And don't tell me that making software is in progress, because it's not. It's ready, period.

Nobody really knew when it was coming, they are tight lipped.

If I were you I would call and speak to customer service. if you bought it from them direct. If you don't like the answer ask to speak to a supervisor. In the past they were very accommodating to me.

don't you mean "send it in and pay for it" ?
and I think the point we're making is that it was implyed that updates would be able to be made by US the user in our own homes just by hooking it up via USB. What difference does it make to US the consumer if theres a USB port for ESCORT to hook up to or if they have to open the cover?

No problem at all, apart from this: "...you will be able to download and install software updates directly from our website".

^ And that, indeed, is my problem with this as well.

I have no need for the AI-assisted false-lockout. I have no need for the Trinity database, as that's taken care of by my Cheetah GPS-Mirror.

All I want is an ability to access the data stored in my 9500i.

Looks like we'll all have to thank jimbonzzz for making that available to us, when Escort either will-not or cannot.

As a long-time Escort user, I'm very, very disappointed in how they are approaching this.

They need to make-good with the 9500i owners, now, although given the features enabled with the 9500ix, as well as the access to Trinity, I do NOT feel that the upgrade fee is too steep as to be reasonable, it simply fails to address the needs/wants of the end-user who is not looking to upgrade to the features of the ix.

    agree 100%
I really don't have a NEED for speed cam databases either...but I might not mind having it if it didnt require paying for it or sending it in.

I want to be able to view/adjust/ and control lockout areas and SEE in text what its set at. Control AUTO speed sensitivity setting and SEE it in text what its set at...not GUESS like we do now. I also thought there would be "updates" as in new or improved features. Possible software-related sensitivity changes, arrow functions?, who knows.

Bottom line is we still don't have any updates available for us to use the USB ourselves as mentioned.
