The early Passport was the one that I always dreamed of. I may get another just for old times sake, I'm sure it still detects the K-band county sheriffs really well. My cousin had one and we had two saves within 20 minutes with it. It gave a short little brraaap, and i said slow down...then LEO passed by a minute later...that happened again just down teh road...awesome detector for sure.

I had one of those Bel Vector3's it worked great. Saved me lots of times.

Origanal Passport, used it every day for 10 years, still have it with everything it came with but it is messed up.

My original passport saved me more times than I can recall over the years. I still have it and it worked great until more local LEO started going to laser. Working nights it still picked up many that sat in the median (sleeping). One of my friends is a LEO and some his buddies set it at 82mph. This way only if your really speeding do you wake them up.

Tha passport was a HUGE upgrade from my escort with one yellow light and signal strength meter on it. Even that saved me many times on my trips.

We had to get one of the earlier "remote" models for my Mom's car. I think BEL was the only choice at the time. She had a 1990 Grand Marquis with the mettalized "insta clear" windshield.

Mine was a Cobra, it was back in 1990 and I cant remember the model to save my life.

The original Escort. If I remember correctly, it costs $225 which was a lot of money at its time. It also was a quality instrument and looked it. You knew you got your moneys worth when yo received it
