redflex K band
I believe they come from australia...but yes seem to be very low powered![]()
was not correcting/hacking on you. I thought if some one new what cameras they were there may be an answer.the contract went to the aussie branch of redflex but I bet its from the U>S.A![]()
another k band camera today and sti was on cnx..did not even go off
The k band cameras have come north to Whangarei now.
Went past 1 the other day in a Purple van and the V1 remained silent, Went past another today in a white van and the V1 went off only as I was right on top of the camera.
Still no confirmed sightings down here in Chc. Not worried about them either. I reckon you should turn pop on, Keep the ka guard on. You will get more K band false alerts from other detectors (which doesn't happen when pop's off) they seem to come in fast strong so not prob to ID them as a true false. The Ka false hits seem to get j'd out which is good.
Turning pop on seems to give a little bit more sensitivity not a bad trade off IMO
With pop turn on I would be interested to see if any better detection for these 24.100 GHz camera's. Thinking K band pop is around 24.125 GHz could be wrong thou can't check as gotta go to work.
Pls don't get confused here turn pop on only for these cam's and see if it work's if not turn off, as TMK we have no pop radar in NZ to date. Also don't go Euro mode that's gonna be bad for your Ka detection in NZ

You'd have to be blind not to see it in plain sight I guess.[/QUOTE]
I think I may have suffered at the hands of one of these a couple of days ago. The van drivers are hiding them around corners & behind bushes.
I was tailing an Audi RS4 and he went past it at around 125kph. I am hoping by the time I saw it I managed to get under 110kph. Oh well I guess I'll find out in the next couple of weeks. :
Anyone know how often the pictures get processed?
