I also took the plunge and phone ordered the 9500i today. The sales rep said 7-10 days so we will see. :roll:
Guys I have only spent about an hour with this detector so it would not be fair for me to say anyhting yet. One thing I will say that it is VERY QUIET even on highway mode. I can tell you a few things about X and K band but I do not think it would be fair since I only have spent about an hour with this detector. I do not want to mislead anyone so I need to spend more time

Since I have had no "live" interaction with happya$$, I would imagine I might need some vaccinations pre-meet?
Nah, it's all-good. I've met up with plenty of various crazy hobbyists over the course of my years. He can't be much worse than a bunch of camo-wearing survivalists or a bunch of moonshine-drinking knife grinders
PS: I do have a connection in an area PD (one member of our local Subaru enthusiast Forum is an active LEO in a local township), should you like to get in some more in-depth testing. We will have to drive a little to get out there, though..... And depending on "the alignment of the moon and Uranus," I may also be able to swing a connection in the Cleveland PD. LMK, as these will take some time to arrange.
