    Radar Sentry 1963 S band radar detector. This is pre X band.

    I completely agree!! I would love for Escort to make an Anniversary Edition of the original Passport but with modern internals!!! Maybe wait until the V1 arrows patent becomes available to other companies!! I loved my original Passport and original Escort!!

    On another topic - I had no idea the Cobra Trapshooter was 2-4 times more sensitive than the original Escort! Wish I had known that back in the day but we did not have internet forums!!

    I could almost get away with only K band detection in my area. Probably 90% of the time I'd be safe during my daily drives. K band range is stellar on this old Passport.

    If Passport still existed along with Ka band and laser- the original had only x and k band- It would be my choice of detector today.
